Psychological and Social Impacts of Aging

Description                                                       People often experience loneliness and isolation due to various factors as they age. Retirement can lead to a loss of work related social connections. Changes in family dynamics, such as relocations or busy schedules, can reduce the frequency of visits. Additionally, health challenges like hearing issues for mobility loss can limit social interaction, further contributing to feelings of isolation in older adults. To help seniors experiencing loneliness and isolation, we made a guide that discusses who is at risk of loneliness and how it can affect their health and well-being. It also includes a list of resources to help older adults foster a greater sense of connection.
